The hyper control condition of Singapore
This project is the speculation on consequence of the hyper control environment and the space that it can generate .
There are several method of control that were use in Singapore such as the boundary control , security control and climatic control. This project is mainly focus on climatic control and the connectivity of urban interior .It propose a huge tensile structure enclosure covering a part of a city , that will completely sealed the entire area with in an air-con giant pocket. By using technique ‘radiant floor cooling system’ , it will cool down the surface area where people’s activity take place and the cool breeze will be generate by the air-con and the vertical axis fan that attach to the main column.
However it’s not possible to control a constant temperature on every area In side the enclosure , So it also have a’sub-enclosure’ or ‘inner enclosure’ that will provide a more concentrate temperature for some specific activity . Since the entire space are and covering in air con , the facade of the existing building are not necessary anymore because it doesn’t have to perform it’s function of temperature/ rain control, So they start to ‘peeled off’. Now we have the situation that all of the space that use to be sealed away from each other become connected and be as an endless urban interior.
