The Project is focusing on exploring ideas to solve the contridiction between the studio based study culture to The current Faculty Building (Faculty of Architecture Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand) spacial arrangement. Start of with investigations on a dilemma of spacial segregation in the existing building which origin different school programs become isolated from one another, Users (instructor,student and guest) become disengagement and circulation gets disrupt.

The fact that learning architecture are studio based study which cause learning by doing.

The primary idea of the proposal is to develope the emerging spatial relationships between tutors and students, the students themselves and the surrounding community by using infiltrate bypassing space to navigate in users to create interaction like sharing idea, discuss, cooperation, influence, competition and inspiration inside the space.

The core of the school works more like a street, where everyone is allowed easy access between entrances, teaching units and supporting facilities, such as a library, workshops, small lecture theatres and meeting rooms. The street also act as a shorcut path or bypassing path that move or transfer users from one wing of the faculty to the opposite wing of the building.  

Importantly from the advantage of emeging user into the street space, the space become an infrastructure where active social interaction taking place. Working area and common are located along the path to crete intereaction between working user and user who pass by.

From the circulation possibility analysis,

The proposal program are based on the existing faculty program. The idea is to place the same program catagory together eg.INDA office are placing near the Thai faculty office on the ground floor or the seminar room are placing near the existing seminar room on the 3rd floor.

The placement of proposal program are also based on distance and relationship to the proposal bypassing path which then the program which need a lot of socialize will place near the busy area of the bypassing path. Oppositely,the program which need privacy like meeting room will place away from the busy area.

The project which aims to explore the computation rule-based design systems on space truss construction tectonics to give structural stiffness and aesthetic values. The research concentrates on space wireframe truss structures, which are reinforce through subdivision of space truss unit and strengthened the structural truss. The generative algorithm on grasshopper is based on use of structural analysis and program analysis to be able to generate structure to transfer load to the ground.
