Haroon's Aye, Bangrak

The connection with water is the most obvious thing in the site.

Nowadays people in the community disconnected with the water by the site and to be able to reconnect is to bring water
to the design. The community is a Muslim community where
they need to wash themselves in order to do Salat.

This will be a great chance to create a bath house for them to use and make the site comes arrived.
Public space on the river front also hard to find in Bangkok, harbour pool in front of the site will
solve this issue and also open up the circulation between water and the sites behind. In order to make the site survive by
itself interms of enerygy and economic, water treatment facility is place in the site. This facility will provide enough water for
the site and the community around it.

The left over of this process is sludge which has the characteristic of day.
This clay-liked material can turn a beautiful pottery. Pottery shops and workshop are placed in the site as an attraction.
The first floor of the main building is an opened-air area where it can
turn to be a marketplace or exhibition space.
