Koh Phayam
Koh Phayam is part of National Park of Laem Son. Located on the southwest of Thailand in the Andaman Sea, the island has many sealife and fauna, which attracts some tourists. Indeed, a local community is still living in depended of all resorts. To preserve this environment, the island begin to adopt sustainable systems as solar panels, water treatment, wind turbine, dam, seawge managment.
After the tsunami they also put alarm tower, as we show on island model at 1/10000 scale. To continue to preserve the environment and improve the sustainable system in Kho Phayam, we propose in our model at 1/200 scale, as a solution, to link all resorts, which are the biggest part of pollution in the island, with sustainable power. Therefore, installing solar panels on the roof of the resorts, use more water treatment, and put wast sorting could permit to re-use the garbage and produce less pollution. To maintain the landscape, the system could be under the ground. The idea is that resorts could consume less than the energy they use thanks to these sustainable power.
