Off-Site Architecture : Phase 2 : Performative Landscape

Performative Landscape

After site survey and analysis, the collected data is interpreted into landscape elements and conditions. With the understanding of the biological and man-made precedents, a performative landscape is developed in response to site conditions.

The rectangular frame boxes are to protect a kind of rare plant that grows in the grey area from being invaded by an architecture that will be developed in the next phase. The height of boxes vary depending on the slope of the ground. The red area is the area where another kind of plant that disturb the growth of the rare plant grows. Therefore, the sizes of the apertures vary depending on the distance from the center of the boxes to the red area.
